My NYFW Instagram Beauty Diary - My list of breakout / beauty must haves !

NYFW sadly has come to an end. It was a fun week despite the cold, and snowy appearance of the city. One thing I did not fall short on was playing on different beauty trends.  From Natural ,  to Flirty , to Full on Grunge , Classic Red lip, to   Editorial Glam .  What I will say having to get ready quickly to make sure I got to my events / shows made me want to glam in as short a time as possible.  That is why I reached for my Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream in Dark  (ALWAYS applied with my damp Beauty Blender of course) for most of the days as my go to instead of a standard Foundation and I loved the results.  My other repeat product these past couple of days was my Lancome Grandiose Mascara -  which has become one of my new favorites in terms of Mascaras. There's something about the bending applicator that makes applying it so unique and special.  Below I have listed my other "Breakout Stars" of the past couple of days from my very different looks.  Enjoy !

Day 1 : Feb 12  -  I went for a very BARE minimalist look.

• Smashbox BB Cream in Dark 
• Lancome Grandiose Mascara 
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in "Pure Hollywood" -  There has been a debate on whether this color is suitable for Darker Skin tones, and well it most certainly is.  This color sells out fast, so I suggest to continuously check out the website to see when it is back in stock , definitely one of the best sellers of the Liquid Lips Line. 

Day 2 : Feb 13 -  Flirty with a Pop of color .

• Benefit Cosmetics Stay Flawless 15HR Primer - Flawless is an understatement. 
• Smashbox BB Cream in Dark 
• Lancome Grandiose Mascara 
• BH Cosmetics Liquid Liner Pen -  This is more of like a marker - literally you can really draw your wings as fine or as medium to think to BOLD as you want.  
• Mally Beauty Bronzer in Deeper -  The first Bronzer I ever used for contouring its the perfect shade for deeper tones.  This Bronzer was once sold alone in a compact but now I only see it in the compact sets.  Its still the same amazing shade of brown for deeper tones.  
• NYX Cosmetics Soft Matte Lip Cream in Antwerp -  I bought this by chance, I was looking for a totally different color.  It was meant to be !  I love love love this shade a big contrast from the color worn the day before.  The NYX Matte Lip Creams are the perfect dupes to higher priced matte liquid lipsticks.  

Day 3 : Feb 14  -  Grunge Smokey Glam ( very Editorial | Runway inspired)

• Skindinavia Face Primer Spray - This is so innovative , and has become one of my favorites to use.  
• Smashbox BB Cream in Dark 
• Anastasia Contour Kit - Banana, Mellow Yellow + 10k ( such a great highlighter) 
• Wet n Wild Mink Brown Eyebrow Pencil - Proof that drugstore brands can produce luxe results.  
• MAC Styled in Sepia Lipstick - the perfect nude for Dark Skin ( wish it was made permanent - unfortunately its sold out. ) 
• Lancome Grandiose Mascara 

Day 4 : Feb 15 -  Extreme Winged Liner 

I think this was my look that was the most popular out of all days.

• Lancome Tient Idole in 550 Suede C ( used as a Cream Contour - I know its not the most ideal option but I like the effect it give me. Check out another look with it used for contour - here ) 
• La Girl Cosmetics Fawn - Cream highlight .  Its one of my favorites to use. 
• Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kit ( banana, mellow yellow, 10K (highlighters) / Cinnamon + Carob (contours)) . - They now sell a Kit in Dark , but I liked customizing my own. 
• Sephora Jumbo Liner 12HR Waterproof Wear in 17 Black - this thing does NOT move it stays so you have to work fast with it .  You can also use this as a gel liner alternative if you run a small brush along it then liner your eyes.  I have been using this for years it is amazing.  
• Smashbox Full Exposure Palette - I used various hues of browns and the black shade to complete the eye. 
• Urban Decay Naked Basics 1 Palette - I used the black shadow "Crave" - one of the blackest of my black shadows , I used this to set the Sephora Pencil.  
• Smashbox Always Sharp Liner in Nude Dark + LORAC Alter EGO lipstick in Girl Next Door - This lip combination complimented my dark eye effortlessly. 

Day 5 : Feb 16 - Bold Red Lip  ( I took this pic mid way walking towards Lincoln Center the image isn't the best quality)

• Smashbox Cosmetics Always Sharp Lip Liner in Ruby.
