I've put together some of my favorite looks, which I might add are very "wear able" for every day, and I've paired them up with some items from the Tarte Cosmetics Fall 2008 Collection.
Pamela Roland Fall 2008 (Backstage) - Beauty Trend : Smokey Eyes
I think this classic "smokey eyes" paired with bare cheeks and lips , can be easily replicated . Tarte Cosmetic's Eye Couture - Day-to-Night Palette ($44) is perfect , it offers right mix of dark and light colors to make this look your own.
Valentino Autumn/Winter 2008-9 Paris RTW - Beauty Trend : Nude Lips, Berry Kissed Cheeks
I love the simplicity of this look, and I feel that it can be worn to work, and also on a hot date. I know its a look that translates on all shades, ( being that its sported on a model of darker toned skin). Berry Couture ($35) - is great for this look, the berrylicious cheek stain is not overpowering with color like some of the other cheek stains, and the accompanying mini natural rise & shine also in berrylicious is a tad bit darker than the look above.. but it translates a glossy nude color that superb! ( I wore it the other night while out.. it was a hit! )
Behnaz Sarafpour Autumn/Winter 2008-9 Paris RTW ( Backstage) - Beauty Trend : Pop Art Eyes
This is most certainly not for the faint of heart. You have to be confident in order to do a trend like this one. I absolutely love it. Its a modern take on the typical smudgy black eye - done in bright vibrant color instead. It's a look I most definitely will try on myself. emphasEYES ($18) - high definition eye pencil in plum paired with liquid liner/shadow duo - Indelible Wink ($22) also in plum are all the tools you need.
Elie Saab Autumn/Winter 2008-9 Paris RTW - Beauty Trend : BOLD Retro-lined Eyes
I know this is a look we've seen grace the runways over and over again, but its a look I can't get enough of. I suggest that instead of using classic black liner - we try using some color , any color your pretty heart desires. I recommend trying a nice brown , or an emerald shade of green - colors I think are very Fall-worthy. emphasEYES ($18) - high definition eye pencil in brown, and green are great for getting that precision line on the eyes.
